Rajasthan Royals sign Kamran Khan
Defending Indian Premier League (IPL) champions Rajasthan Royals have roped in young fast bowler Kamran Khan for the second season of the lucrative league.
Darren Berry, Rajasthan’s director of coaching spotted the left-arm fast bowler during a local Twenty20 tournament in Mumbai. Kamran, 18, is still to play first-class cricket.
He now finds himself with a Rs 12 lakh (approximately $24,000) contract with Rajasthan. “I can’t express how happy I am. I knew I would play for a big team one day, but I never thought it would come so early,” Kamran told Mid Day.
