ICC to review World Cup plans
Condenming attack on Sri Lankan players, ICC chief executive Haroon Largot announced that the plan for upcoming World Cup in the sub-continent in 2011 will reviewed.
“We will take decision on the 2011 World Cup in the next 48 hours,” said Haroon Largot.
“At this time our thoughts and prayers are with the injured people and also the families of those who have died,” he added.
Soon after the attacks, Sri Lankan Cricket (SLC) called off the tour with immediate effect and asked its players to return home as soon as possible.
