Six Lankan cricket players injured in firing in Lahore



A terrorist attack near the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore has put a question mark over the second Test being played there between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. A top security official told reporters five armed terrorists attacked the convoy surrounding the Sri Lankan team bus and five policemen were killed.

The shoot out occured at Lahore’s Liberty market as the team was on it’s way to the stadium. According to television reports, Sri Lanka’s security team was targeted. The third day of the Lahore Test is scheduled to begin at 10.00 am.
