Ten Sports to broadcast Sri Lanka’s tour of Pakistan
Ten Sports has acquired the TV rights of Sri Lanka’s upcoming two-legged tour of Pakistan which comprises of three one day internationals in the first leg in January, and two Test matches in February.
Taj Television Ltd (owner of Ten Sports) CEO Chris McDonald said, “We are happy that international cricket is making a return to Pakistan. Pakistan has always been, and remains, one of the most exciting teams in the world, and fans across the globe will be keen to see their form when they take on Sri Lanka.”
Sri Lankan team will play the first two ODIs in Karachi 20 and 21 January at 12.30 pm. However, the final ODI will be played in Lahore on Saturday, 24 January at 12 noon.
After the ODI series, Sri Lankan team will go back to play five ODIs and one T-20 match with India, before returning to Pakistan in February. The first Test match is scheduled from Sunday, 22 February, at Karachi, followed by the second Test in Lahore from 2 March.
